Leadership, Skinned Knees and Growing Leaders with Iggy Domagalski – Act 1

With a hefty early infusion of entrepreneurship already running through his veins a young age, Iggy Domagalski opens Act 1 reflecting on the formidable influence of his expat parents.

Iggy shares some of the highs and lows he witnessed as his folks navigated, among other things, a dishwasher full of cash and suboptimal working conditions.  In contrast, he points to the grace and gratitude his folks displayed in the face of all of it.

Pointing toward his own personal operating system and the choices it inspires, Iggy discusses his “off the charts” sense of trust, citing The Happiness Advantage, by Shawn Achor, as one of his own inspirations.  (“It isone of the best books I’ve ever read!”, says Iggy, with great enthusiasm.)

 Iggy describes practices of reflection and gratitude that he, his wife and twin daughters do daily.

 We wrap Act 1 with a good chuckle about the idealized world of Iggy the “naïve” university business student discovering slightly different attitudes in his first gig after graduation!
