Lifting the Masks with Keith Edwards – Act 2

In Act 2 of my discussion with Keith Edwards, our discussion unfolds around the complexities of masculinity, the influence of socialization, and the journey towards authentic living. Keith shares anecdotes, including a story about a man questioning his love for football, illustrating the profound impact of socialization on identity. We move through the mazes of masculinity, both toxic and healthy, and we explore the idea of authentic masculinity, emphasizing the significance of curiosity, unlearning, and self-awareness in personal development. Before we wrap up, Keith muses about agency, choice, and conscious decision-making, ultimately highlighting the challenges of early socialization, the ongoing quest for authenticity, and how we, as men, can benefit from the practice of self-reflection.
